The stage sensor, which is integral to the determination of flow at this station, is having technical difficulties, and will be repaired as soon as possible. Gage height datum conversion to the NAVD88 datum for this streamgage was completed on May 15, 2023.

Station 01Q070 Description

Dakota Creek is a lowland stream that flows directly into Drayton Harbor in Puget Sound. The objective of the Dakota Creek gage is to better understand the hydrology of a lowland creek with direct flow to Puget Sound. Dakota Creek supports populations of coho, chinook, and chum salmon as well as cutthroat trout.
