Station 18N050 Description
The Elwha-Morse Management Team (EMMT) suggested this station based upon Little River’s importance to salmon recovery following removal of the Elwha River dams, and the fact that it has several pending water right applications which have been placed on hold as a result of DOE’s moratorium on the issuance of new water rights in the Elwha watershed. The basin also supports a unique genetic strain of rainbow trout.
