Station 35L050 Description
Almota Creek is a right bank tributary to the Snake River just downstream from Lower Granite Dam. The station itself is located within the highway 194 right-of-way on the left bank just upstream from the 194 crossing. Despite its small size and relatively steep gradient, Almota Creek supports a run of steelhead which were observed this past spring spawning below, in, and above the large culvert which passes Almota creek beneath highway 194.
