Site Investigation And Cleanup
In interim actions, Chevron removed some free product from groundwater using an infiltration gallery. When the infiltration gallery was disassembled, the surrounding contaminated soil was also removed.
Ecology and Chevron are working under Agreed Order DE 4086 to investigate contamination and compare options for cleaning up the contamination. Chevron has completed several supplemental investigations to determine the type and extent of contamination.
When the public review draft remedial investigation and feasibility study (RI/FS) are complete, Ecology will hold a public comment period for the public review draft RI/FS and an amendment requiring Chevron to complete a preliminary draft Cleanup Action Plan.Documents 0
