The Washington State Coastal Atlas provides geographically linked information to support informed management of Washington’s marine shorelines. Originally developed primarily to inform Shoreline Master Programs, the Coastal Atlas is now a broadly useful tool that is heavily used by other programs within Ecology, other state agencies such as DNR, DOH, and WDFW, local and Tribal governments, federal agencies, researchers, consultants, and interested citizens. It allows for the dynamic display of many data layers which inherently makes it difficult to describe. For questions concerning this map, please contact Darby Veeck, email: darby.veeck@ecy.wa.gov.
