Cleanup Complete

In June 2017, Ecology determined no further cleanup actions are required at the former Texaco Bulk Plant. Ecology used Model Remedies Grant Program funding to hire an environmental contractor to investigate the site in April 2017. Results of soil and groundwater samples from this investigation showed no remaining concentrations of petroleum contamination requiring cleanup.

Site History

The Texaco Bulk Plant removed an underground storage tank and associated piping in 1992. Following this, soil and groundwater samples were taken, and the groundwater sample showed levels of petroleum contamination potentially requiring further cleanup.
