We invite you to comment on the following dangerous waste corrective action permit, agreed order, and State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) determination for the BP Cherry Point refinery's oily water sewer.

While we're not aware of any current releases from the refinery's oily water sewer, these include detailed requirements to investigate and clean up any soil or groundwater contamination. Contaminants of concern include metals, volatile organics, and semi-volatile organics.

Phillips 66 refinery's oily water sewer is taking place during this same time.

FACILITY INFORMATION
Located at 4519 Grandview Road in Blaine WA, the refinery was constructed in 1971. It separates crude oil into components for further processing and blending to make a variety of petroleum products. Processing an average of 209,000 barrels a day, major products include:
- Gasoline
- Diesel oil
- Jet fuel
- Liquid petroleum gas
- Residual fuel oil
- Calcined petroleum coke
