Notes:
Leung: Due to high flows from the end of August, the chlorine contact time was shorter in the first week of this month. The effluent fecal coliform levels were elevated during that week. Then they reduced flows from the Primary Clarifiers to Trickling Filer/Solids Contact System resulting in increasing detention time in the chlorine contact channels. The effluent fecal coliform levels were back to normal. They also took additional effluent samples (fecal coliform, total residual chlorine (TRC)) at the downstream effluent line near the Port Gardner site and compared the sampling results at the South Effluent Pump Station (SEPS). Please see their DMR attachments for data summary. At SEPS location, monitoring data met TRC limits but not fecal coliform weekly Geometric Mean limit. At downstream effluent line location, monitoring data met fecal coliform limits and TRC limits.
