Description Study assessing the effectiveness of compensatory wetland mitigation statewide.
The study evaluated permit compliance for 45 mitigation projects randomly selected from U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Ecology databases. The study evaluated site conditions against requirements of a variety of regulations (including Section 404 permits, water quality certifications, wetland mitigation plans, and monitoring reports).
