Description The Washington State Department of Ecology continues to clean up the Everett Smelter Site. The Legislature has authorized Ecology to spend $1.5 million from a fund set aside for cleanup purposes. Ecology has prepared a "Property Cleanup Manual" that addresses how the cleanups will be conducted. This is based on the November 1999 Cleanup Action Plan. Comments accepted through July 26, 2000.
