| Description | This is the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) on the potential environmental effects of implementing the wetland mitigation bank certification rule. A DEIS was developed and a public notice was issued to solicit comments in 2002. However, the wetland mitigation banking program was put on hold due to lack of funding and a Final Environmental Impact Statement was never published. This 2009 update to the DEIS incorporates comments, lessons learned, and regulation changes since the first DEIS was published in 2002. This document was finalized in August 2009 (see Related Publications, updated version). |
