Focus Sheet: 2002 Supplemental Budget Request (Historical)
|This publication is historical. It is unavailable on our website. To request a copy, please use the contact listed below.
|This Focus sheet addresses the General Fund shortfall of $14.4 million. In responding to the Governor's request for General Fund savings, the Department of Ecology offered a strategy that uses higher-than-anticipated revenues in dedicated funds (other than the General Fund), in conjunction with reducing a number of environmental activities. These reductions are designed to let the agency live within its financial means and generate savings for the state.
