Description | The purpose of this project was to determine the reasonably available control technology (RACT) for wood and combination-wood (also known as hog fuel) fired boilers that are typically used in the pulp and paper industry in order to meet their steam and heat needs. This report sets forth procedures for RACT development, and provides technical information that will assist state and local air pollution control agencies in developing guidelines for RACT for certain criteria pollutants from existing stationary sources on a case-by-case basis. |
