Description As part of the project, Spokane River and Lake Spokane (Long Lake) Pollutant Loading Assessment for Protecting Dissolved Oxygen, Ecology compiled historical data and conducted a series of water quality surveys in 1999 and 2000. In addition, the Spokane River Phosphorus Technical Advisory Committee discharger members collected data during the summer of 2001. This report provides a summary of the field measurements and chemical data. The data provided in this report – and flow, water level, meteorological, and bathymetry data from other sources – were used to develop and calibrate a hydrodynamic and water quality computer model of the Spokane River and Lake Spokane. The model will be used to recommend Total Maximum Daily Load pollutant limitations.
