Description This TMDL study (water cleanup plan) was conducted in response to federal Clean Water Act 303(d) listings for fecal coliform bacteria in three tributaries to the Wenatchee River: Mission, Brender, and Chumstick creeks. The study used water quality data collected by the Department of Ecology in 2003 and 2004.

The three creeks were found to have seasonal fecal coliform problems during the dry, low-flow season (July through October). Fecal coliform target reductions from 6% to 98% are recommended for 26 locations in the three creeks and their tributaries to bring the creeks into compliance with Washington State water quality criteria.
