Description Two surveys examining diel changes in temperature, pH, conductivity, salinity, and dissolved oxygen were conducted in the Old Stillaguamish River Channel on July 28-30 and September 7-9, 2004. The surveys were a collaborative effort between staff of the Washington State Department of Ecology (Ecology) and the Stillaguamish Tribe Natural Resources Department.

The data will be used in a water quality clean-up plan for the Old Channel. Quality assurance results suggest that data collected by the Stillaguamish Tribe are comparable to Ecology data. Temperature, pH, and dissolved oxygen water quality criteria violations occurred in the channel
