Description This is a Quality Assurance Monitoring Plan for the Department of Ecology's Streamflow Gaging Network.

Revisions made October 2007:

Under "Dividing the Stream Channel into Segments" section, the number of segments in a measurement cross-section was increased to approximately 30 segments.

The "Measuring Velocity of the Stream Segments" section was re-written to include the following updates:
*The number of measurement segments was increased to better address horizontal variability.
*The methods employed to address vertical variability in a measurement segment were updated.
*Velocity sampling times were updated to better address single-point velocity variation.
