Description Clean up of contaminated soils and groundwater at the Wolfe and Parks site, formerly known as the Chevron Bulk Plant, will soon be underway. The specific clean up action will include removal of approximately 600 cubic yards of petroleum contaminated soil and transport of this soil to a facility for treatment or permanent disposal. Once the most contaminated soil is removed, the excavations will be backfilled with imported clean soil. The public comment period is September 8, through October 8, 2006.
