Author(s) Hallock, D.
Description Many organizations collect water quality data from rivers and streams in Washington State. Even when monitoring is conducted under a formal Quality Assurance Project Plan, there is a potential for bias between organizations due to differences in sample collection, processing, and analytical procedures. The program described in "Focus on Side-by-Side Sampling" is designed to help monitoring groups sample at a common location and time and compare their results.
