Description | The Department of Ecology has prepared this final progress report of the Shellfish Aquaculture Regulatory Committee to meet a requirement of Second Substitute House Bill 2220 (Chapter 216, Laws of 2007) Second Substitute House Bill 2220 (Chapter 216, Laws of 2007) created the Shellfish Aquaculture Regulatory Committee. The membership of the Committee is diverse, including representatives of local government, the shellfish aquaculture industry, the environmental community, shoreline property owners, state agencies and tribal governments. The Shellfish Committee has completed the main tasks assigned in the legislation, and will continue to serve an advisory role. |
