Description The Washington State Department of Ecology plans to enter into an Agreed Order with BNSF Railway Company (BNSF) to conduct a Remedial Investigation and Feasibility Study at the Parkwater Railyard site. The BNSF Parkwater facility, formerly known as Yardley, is one-half mile south of the Spokane River and lies over the Spokane Valley Rathdrum Prairie Aquifer in the Spokane Valley. The site is located at 5302 East Trent Avenue in the city of Spokane, Spokane County, Washington. Public comment period is January 12 through February 10, 2009.
