Description This report contains the results of an on-site inspection performed on October 20, 2005, and a
subsequent safety evaluation of May Lake Dam performed by the Dam Safety Office of the
Department of Ecology.

May Lake is located 2 miles north of Colville, Washington, in the northeast quarter of Section
32, Township 36 North, Range 39 East (Figures 1 and 2). The dam is a 12-foot high earthfill
dam constructed across an unnamed tributary of Mill Creek, which drains the west slope of the
Colville Mountain. The dam is owned and operated by Briscot Limited Partnership (Mr. Roger
McMillian).
