Description The Kettle River, a major tributary of the Columbia River, originates in the Okanogan Highlands and Monashee Mountains of southern British Columbia, Canada. Roughly one-quarter of the Kettle River watershed, the southern-most 1,000 square miles, is in Washington State, and is often referred to as Water Resource Inventory Area (WRIA) 60.

This publication provides an overview of water resources in WRIA 60: water availability, water quality and watershed planning. It includes general information on water rights as well as contacts and web sites for more information.
