Description Samish River and its tributaries, as well as some creeks and ditches, are on the 303(d) list for too much fecal coliform. Ecology, together with interested groups in the watershed, developed a Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) and Implementation Plan to help the water bodies achieve state water quality standards.
