The objective of this TMDL is to reduce sediment, turbidity and organochlorine pesticides in the upper Yakima River and its tributaries during the period from April through October. In this effectiveness monitoring project, only turbidity and suspended sediment levels will be evaluated; the organochlorine pesticide levels will be assessed in 2007.
