Author(s) Moore, David
Description Newman Lake experienced accelerated growth of algae, related blooms, and aquatic plants during the summer months due to elevated phosphorus concentrations. This implementation plan is a follow-up of the TMDL. It focuses on upland and near-shore phosphorus reduction strategies, such as forest management, erosion control in the upper watershed, and lake shore and riparian restoration.
