| Description | The Department of Ecology (Ecology) is required to produce this quality system report, as specified in Ecology’s Quality Management Plan. The Plan requires periodic reporting to Ecology management evaluating Ecology’s quality system, identifying quality system issues, and presenting recommendations for quality system improvements. The "quality system" is a structured and documented management system that provides the framework for (1) planning, implementing, documenting, and assessing environmental data operations, and (2) carrying out required quality-assurance and quality-control activities. The quality system encompasses both management and technical activities. The intended audience for this report is Ecology’s director and deputy director, executive management team, and other interested parties. |
