Description | In 2008, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency funded a project to collect information on how states are measuring and demonstrating water quality improvement. Nine states participated in this project: Alaska, Iowa, North Carolina, Oregon, Texas, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. This report presents technical, programmatic, and resource information from the other eight states on current approaches, and needs for, measuring and demonstrating water quality improvements. The report provides general recommendations for future program development. The Cadmus Group conducted this study and wrote this report under contract with the Department of Ecology. |
