Description | Washington State’s solid and hazardous waste plan, called the Beyond Waste plan, was adopted in 2004 and updated in 2009. The purpose of the 30-year plan is to eliminate most wastes and toxic substances and use any remaining wastes as resources. This document summarizes Ecology's progress towards Beyond Waste with a quick snapshot of the trends of the indicators. For the full progress report go to the web site. | ||||
