Description The Washington State Department of Ecology plans to remove the Sternoff Metals Corporation site from the state’s Hazardous Sites List. The Sternoff Metals Corporation site is located at 1600 SW 43rd Street, Renton, Washington. The site was cleaned up under a Prospective Purchaser Consent Decree. Under the terms of the Consent Decree, the property owners cleaned up the property to meet the requirements of the Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA). Public comments will be accepted February 19 through March 22, 2010.
