Description The Slag Disposal Beckwith Property cleanup site is approximately 4.7 acres of vacant land located at the corner of South 218th St and 90th Ave S, Kent, WA. This fact sheet describes the latest site cleanup proposed. Cleanup actions were conducted at the site in 1995-1996 and 2002 to mitigate the discharge of surfact water with a pH above the regulatory limit. In 2007, Ecology confirmed the requirements of the Consent Decree had been met and further monitoring no longer needed. In March 2009, pH levels above the regulatory limit were measured.
