Description In 2009, Washington state received $66 million in federal economic stimulus funding for clean water projects from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (Recovery Act). The Department of Ecology's Water Quality Program is managing the funding through its nationally recognized grant and loan program. Ecology successfully offered shares of this funding to 17 projects.
