Description | The Washington State Department of Ecology prepared this total maximum daily load report, or TMDL for stream temperature on the Tucannon River and its tributaries. The Tucannon watershed planning committee contracted a temperature water quality study report in 2005. This TMDL includes that report and other existing credible data to calculate load and wasteload allocations for effective shade for the Tucannon River and Pataha Creek, as well as other recommendations to reduce temperatures and meet state water quality standards. | ||||||
