Description | The Washington State Department of Ecology (Ecology) issued a dangerous waste permit to the Bonneville Power Administration, Ross Complex (BPA) on March 15, 2001. The facility has been operating under that permit for the past ten years. BPA is owned by the U.S. Department of Energy and located in Vancouver, Washington. Ecology is seeking comments on the proposal to re-issue a permit for dangerous waste management at this facility. The permit authorizes and has requirements for storage and limited treatment of dangerous waste at BPA. Ecology will make a final decision on re-issuing the permit after we consider public comments on the draft permit. |
