Description The Department of Ecology is proposing to remove the Oroville Landfill Site (on the Oroville-Nighthawk Hwy, Oroville) from the state Hazardous Sites List. This is a statewide list of contaminated properties. The landfill is ranked a 5 on the list. A rank of 1 is the highest level of environmental concern compared to other sites, and a rank of 5 is the lowest. Public comments will be accepted January 13 through February 14, 2011.
