| Description | The Washington State Department of Ecology (Ecology) recently performed two rounds of indoor air sampling at the Buckle My Shoe Early Learning Center. Ecology had been concerned about the threat to children from the tetrachloroethene (PCE) vapors in the air. Our testing results indicate PCE vapors are present and have impacted the indoor air quality. Therefore, Ecology plans to install and operate a soil vapor extraction (SVE) system. This system will remove and capture the PCE vapors before they enter the Buckle My Shoe Early Learning Center. | ||||
