Description The 2007 Legislature passed Substitute House Bill 1761. This bill directed the Department of Ecology to prioritize Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA) funding to clean up hazardous waste sites and prevent creation of future hazards due to improper disposal of toxic wastes, and submit a report. This 2010 report is the second one prepared under the requirements of HB 1761 and is a high-level summary of the ten-year financing plan for the State Toxic Control Account (STCA) and the Local Toxic Control Account (LTCA).
The mission of the Department of Ecology is to protect, preserve, and enhance Washington’s environment. To help us meet that goal, please consider the environment before you print or request a copy.
