Description The Department of Ecology is asking for your comments on the proposed Amended Prospective Purchaser Consent Decree for the Camp Bonneville Military Reservation Site. This fact sheet is to provide background information about Camp Bonneville and how you can submit your comments.Camp Bonneville consists of almost 4,000 acres of forested land previously owned by the U.S. Army and leased from the State Department of Natural Resources.The camp was officially closed in 1995 and since then, investigations have been ongoing to characterize the contamination from the munitions and other hazardous substances and to develop a plan for re-using the Site once it is cleaned up.
