Description | The Department of Ecology plans to remove the Benedict Property (19223 Denmark St., Rochester, WA) from the Hazardous Sites List. The site was cleaned up under the Voluntary Cleanup Program. In 2004, a storage tank developed corrosion holes and released about 300 gallons of heating oil onto surrounding soul. Site investigations revealed some soil and groundwater contamination from petroleum hydrocarbons. Public comments will be received July 5 through August 5, 2011.
