Description The Department of Ecology is amending an Agreed Order for the cleanup of the Tony's Short Stop site. The site is located at 326 South Main Street in Montesano. Tony's is planning an interim action, which is a partial cleanup. The interim action will: Remove soil contaminated with petroleum-related chemicals, treat any remaining contamination with compounds that naturally break contaminants into less toxic substances. Ecology is accepting comments on the SEPA documents from September 20 - October 3, 2011. And comments on the Agreed Order Amendment and Interim Action Work Plan will be accepted from September 20 - October 19, 2011.
