Description This fact sheet includes information about the amended draft Consent Decree and associated documents for the Hansville Landfill Site. Ecology and Kitsap County have combined the comment periods with the SEPA Decision Notification. The landfill is 4.5 miles south of Hansville on the northernmost reach of Kitsap Peninsula. The Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribal property is between the landfill and Port Gamble Bay. Ecology is asking for comments on the draft amendments to the Consent Decree, the draft CAP, and applicable SEPA documents. Comments will be accepted May 13 through June 13, 2011.
