Description Ecology is conducting a statewide study on dioxins and furans in soils. As part of the study Ecology is collecting soil samples in both rural and urban areas of Washington. City of Seattle is partnering with Ecology to collect 120 soil samples (20 each) from the public road right-of-ways including planting strips. These locations include: South Park, Georgetown, Ravenna, Capitol Hill, West Seattle, Fremont and Ballard. Sampling starts the week of March 28.
