This is a Department of Ecology (Ecology) 2011 report to the Washington State Legislature about House Bill 2222, a bill passed into law in 2009 that set in motion the creation of the Stormwater Technical Resource Center (Center) that would focus resources on protecting Washington's waters through improvements in regional stormwater management. The Bill, codified in RCW 90.48.545, directs the Ecology "as funding becomes available…to create a stormwater technical resource center in partnership with a university, nonprofit organization, or other public or private entity to provide tools for stormwater management." |
