Description Portions of the Green River and its major tributaries in WRIA 9, including Newaukum Creek, Soos Creek, Hill (Mill) Creek and Mullen Slough, exhibit unhealthy stream temperature and oxygen conditions that do not meet Washington State water quality standards. This Water Quality Improvement Report documents the studies and the implementation strategy that outlines the approaches for improving temperature in the Lower and Middle Green River.
