| Description | The Department of Ecology operates 6 active flow gaging stations and has 5 historical continuous and manual staff gage stations in the Elwha-Dungeness watershed planning area (WRIA 18 and the Sequim Bay watershed in WRIA 17). This report presents: *Regression-based models that predict flows for these stations using the hydrograph separation method. *A quality assessment of the models. *Recommendations for support of flow gaging stations. The flow information needs of local partners and the state should be compared to the quality of the models to determine whether models or direct flow measurements meet those needs. |
