Description | Ecology's Voluntary Cleanup Program reviewed the cleanup actions conducted at the site. The cleanup addressed a pesticide known as Chlordane which is used in agricultural applications. Chlordane was found in soil at levels the exceeded state limits. As a result of the completed cleanup work, Ecology plans to remove the site from the Hazardous Sites List. The Air Trac Waste Management Area 1 is located at 5800 Pasco-Kahlotus Highway. Public comments will be received on the delisting from February 23 through March 23, 2012. | ||||
