Description | Ecology is seeking comments on construction, SEPA, and substantive requirement documents for cleanup of four Spokane River beaches. The comment period is May 17 through June 15, 2012. Ecology will be addressing lead, arsenic, zinc, and cadmium. The Barker Road North beach is on the north side of the Spokane River east of Barker Rd. bridge. The other three beaches are Islands Lagoon, Myrtle Point, and Flora Road, which are all on the south side of the river. Beach work will begin when river levels are low in the summer and will be completed by fall 2012. | ||||
