| Description | Washington’s marine and fresh waters are home to rich stocks of finfish and shellfish, and these resources are vital to the well-being of the peoples of our state. Several years ago, Washington State Department of Ecology began work reviewing fish consumption rates as part of updating environmental cleanup regulations and subsequently produced draft Technical Support Documents (Version 1.0 and Version 2.0 Public Review Draft). Ecology received several hundred comments on the draft documents and made revisions based on input received. Ecology also performed additional analyses and gathered supplemental information to support preparation of this Version 2.0 Final, which is narrower in scope than Version 1.0 (Publication No. 11-09-050, September 2011). |
