Description | In 2009, the Department of Ecology (Ecology) entered into an agreed order (legal agreement) with White Birch Group, LLC and E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company. The latter are the potentially liable parties or PLPs) that will cleanup at the Superlon Plastics site. The site is located at 2116 Taylor Way in Tacoma. To date, the PLPs have conducted two interim actions (partial cleanups)at the site, the first in 2010 and the second in 2011. The website noted at the right has more background on the type of contamination at the site, and the cleanup that has already been done. |
