Description The Washington State Department of Ecology (Ecology) prepared this fact sheet to provide you with information about the Weyerhaeuser Everett East Site (Site). The 72 acre Site is located on the west bank of the Snohomish River in north Everett, Washington (See figure on page 2 for the site boundary. Weyerhaeuser Mill E, also shown on the figure, is a separate cleanup site). The Site was formerly a large wood products manufacturing complex known as Mill B. It operated from 1915 until about 1980. The Site was decommissioned in the 1980s.
The mission of the Department of Ecology is to protect, preserve, and enhance Washington’s environment. To help us meet that goal, please consider the environment before you print or request a copy.
